The aloe plant is amazing! This particular aloe is in front of our house, and this is the second season for it to bloom. The stalks take several weeks to grow, then the buds begin. This aloe plant (and there are numerous varieties of aloe plants) blooms for almost two months - in April and May.
This painting is painted on two different gessobords (click on Art Definitions for details), each panel is 12" wide by 36" wide. They are meant to be hung 2 inches apart, and they can be hung either inside or outside. (They are heavily varnished to withstand outdoor conditions.)
