A friend of mine, Cathy Hareland, took a photo (from within her house) of these two adorable bobcats, lounging on her chaise in the backyard. As soon as I saw the photo, I asked if I could use it as reference material for a painting. Believe-it-or-not, this occurence is not that unusual for those of us who live on Dove Mountain, an area northwest of Tucson, Arizona. But, rarely, are we able to capture the moment in such a great photo. Thank you, Cathy!
