The Greater Roadrunner is a curious little bird! It is very common in southern Arizona, where we live, and it enjoys a very active lifestyle. When it walks, it walks very briskly -- darting here and there. When it stops, UP goes its tail, high into the air. When it is chased, it does fly and will rest in trees, where it makes its nest.
We always enjoy watching roadrunners, wherever they are!
