This is a painting of a beautiful antique vase owned by our friend, Scott Petersen. Scott came to dinner at our house one night and brought one dozen tulips and this three-piece vase (which had belonged to his mother). We enjoyed the tulips for that evening...and for one week after. The antique vase has 12 holes for a dozen tulips...and the tulips last longer because of the special vase. As a gift for Scott, I painted the vase and flowers...nice memories. By the way, the vase was rightfully returned to Scott for him to enjoy in the future!
